Annual Update

One of the requirements of adopting from Ukraine is signing a statement agreeing to send an annual update to the Ukrainian embassy on the progress of the adopted children.  Most families also send a copy to the National Adoption Center and the orphanage so that those workers know how the kids are doing and to dispel the myth that foreign families adopt Ukrainian children for body parts and other grotesque myths.  Here are some of the things we included on Ivan's annual progress report:

Then -  inches,    pounds, wearing 18-24mo clothing, and size 5 shoe

Now - 38 inches, 33 pounds, wearing 3-4T, and size 7.5 shoe
